【Abstract】 Serials of polyacrylic gels with different amount of crosslinker were synthesized.The comprehensive swelling behaviors of the gels were investigated under different PH and temperature f They included the determinationof swelling kinetic curves by both methods of classical weighing and advance swelling stress with the aide of an instrument for automatic determination of swelling property of polymer as well as equilibrium swelling degree.
