长周期光纤光栅折射率敏感特性研究
Research on Refractive Index Sensitivity of Long-period Fiber Grating
【摘要】 从理论上分析了长周期光纤光栅(LPG)折射率敏感的物理机制,并对其折射率敏感特性进行了实验研究,实验测量结果与理论分析结果基本一致,折射率测量的最高分辨率可达9.15×10~-5;当周围介质折射率发生变化时,LPG的透射波形基本不变,采用具有不同折射率的介质封装光栅,可望实现对LPG共振波长的大范围调谐.
【Abstract】 in this paper, we analyzed theoretically physical mechanism of refractiveindex sensitivity and investigated the refractive index sensitivity of long-period fibergrating. The experimental results are coincident with theortical analysis. The resolution of refractive index measurement is 9.15× 10~-5. When the ambient refractiveindex Changed, the transmission wave shape of LPG remained invariability. Packaging grating with medium of different refractive index, we can tune the resonantpeak of LPG in large wavelength range.
