Role of adhesion molecules in onset of experimental allergic encephalomyelitis
【Abstract】 Objective To study the role of adhesion molecules (CD11 a,CD54 and CD62) in onset of experimental allergic encephalomyelitis(EAE). Methods We established the experimental allergic encephalomyelitis(EAE) animal model with Wistar rats and exmained the subset of T cell and expression of adhesion molecules(ADMs) in EAE animals and normal ones with immunofluorescence method. Results Expression of adhesion molecules increased on lymphocytes not only in blood but also in brain. There were a lot of lymphocytes in EAE animal brain and most of these were CD4 T cell. Conclusion The expression of ADMs play an important role in the onset of EAE.
