【Abstract】 In order to enhance the applied values of minerals and reduce the cost of silicone rubber products, silicone rubber reinforcing filler were prepared by ultrafinerashing and surface chemical modifying. The influence of the kind of minerals, the surface area of powders and coupling agent on reinforcing effect is discussed. As a result,the reinforcing effects of modified ultrafine mineral powders are close to that of fumed silica.
