【Abstract】 Based on analysing featrues of the distribution of accumulated value of pixel gray gradient between neighbor lines and rows in the image,a new binary method for images of serial numbers on transmission is presented.It also presents an evaluation using other approaches and a comparison with other approaches.In this method,approximate position of foreground points have been confirmed before threshold selection.As a result,this method can eliminate the influence of most noise in the background of images,and the reliability of threshold value will be improved greatly.Since the candidate regions have reduced obviously,the whole operation time will be saved greatly,too.更多还原
