函数展开法及高分子材料胶层的应力分析
FUNCTION EXPANSION METHOD AND STRESS ANALYSIS OF POLYMER ADHESIVE LAYER
【摘要】 以函数展开法并运用虚余功原理完成数学模型的建立过程,然后通过计算机运算指出高分子胶粘剂的一些重要使用性质——其在使用中所具有的力学性能,如应力、强度等。文中给出了计算实例,并得到了更合理的结果。
【Abstract】 Mechanical properties, such as stresses and strengths, of polymer adhesives have been heavily concerned about and studied by engineers and scientists mainly with the experiment methods in recent years. But commonly satisfactory solution to the problems has not been found up to now. More research work is needed in this field. The present study gives a mathematical model method to solve these problems, yielding more reasonable results that can satisfy the boundary conditions better. It is rare to find such a paper in literature in this field. The first part of this paper presents a theoretical derivation by using function expansion method and the virtual complementary work principle to establish a mathematical model to these problems. Then the model is used to a specific double adhesive joint domain, leading to a series of formulas which can be used to compute the stresses in the polymer adhesive layer. The calculated stress results can further be used in strength design of this kind of joints which have found wide applications in engineering. An example is given at the end of this paper to show the calculated stress results in a stretched double adhesive joint by the method presented in this paper.
