【Abstract】 Research on MAS(Multi-Agent Systems) and CSCW(Computer Supported Cooperative Work) has provided new concepts and effective methods for the successful realization of CIMS integration. Applying MAS and CSCW concepts into CIMS has gained more and more attentions. The main application fields include manufacturing systems, cooperative design, workflow management, supply chain management, and concurrent engineering.
