VoD系统的数据预取及缓冲区动态分配策略
The Strategy for Dynamic Data Prefetching and Buffer Allocation in VoD System
【摘要】 给出了一种基于用户数据消费率的动态数据预取和缓冲区分配策略．并通过构建数据读取函数Ｄａｔａｒｅａｄ０，实现数据的读取和标准ＶＣＲ控制功能。
【Abstract】 Due to recent advances in network and multimedia technologies,Video-on-Demand (VoD) has been Paid more and moreattention .In this paper. by giving the definition of the data retrieval cycle time, the client allocated time will be discussed. And then weprovide a dynamic scheduling algorithm for buffer allocation and data prefetching based on user’s consume rate. Furthermore, a dateretrieval function will be proposed, which can be compatible with all kinds of VoD data retrieval Operation,such as VCR.
