【Abstract】 The general procedure to choose the cable that supplies power to the motor is used to decide the type of ca-ble by the aplication conditions first, and then choose the cross sectional area that satisfies the current capacity, voltagedrop and the thermal stability requirement. Does the cross sectional area chose is economically optimum? DurationCompensation Method is used to discuss the problem in this paper. Through the quantitative analysis and computation ofsome practical examples, the optimum cross sectional area of the cable is obtained.更多还原
