【Abstract】 Objective To compare the help seeking pntterns of schizophrenics in city and countryside. Methods The study investigated (1) education of patients and their parents (2) family type and familial disease history (3) psyochotic or no psyochotic symptoms (4) Who first found mental disorder and who decided to send patients for in- hospital. Results There were significative defferences between two groups about single farnily and educative level (P<0.01),early- in intevention、help seeking pattern、early- in hospital in countryside group were prior to those in city group.
