【Abstract】 Directed against the actual engineering design, a four-outrigger highrise structure will be used to demonstrate the calculation of the lateral deflection. The matrix equation is derived to solve the outrigger restraining moments. On the equation, the formula of the top lateral deflection is derived. At the same time, the calculation of the bending rigid of the outriggers is studied. Eventually a numerical example is given to demonstrate its effectivity of outriggers in reducing the top lateral deflection and practicability of the calculation in the design.更多还原
