【Abstract】 Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of the indirect hemagglutination test(IHT) as a screening method for productive tract infections with testing serum samples. Methods Testing vaginal secrete samples with IHT is taken as a gold standard while testing serum samples with the same test is taken as a screening method. Results The sensitivity and specificity of the screening method are 62. 5 % and 95. 1 % , respectively. Conclusions Testing serum samples for antibody of chlamydial trachomatis with IHT can be used as a screening method for productive tract infections.更多还原
