【Abstract】 Real-time database plays an important role in computer integrated manufacturing system (CIMS) of contin-uous industry. According to CIMS projects in Fujian refin-ery, the structural and functional characteristics of real-time database are analyzed, and the framework of RTDBMS in the plant is introduced.
