【Abstract】 In this paper a certain multiwavelet with compact support, orthogonality and symmetry is applied to image mosaic. Border processing becomes simple with symmetry of the multiwavelet, by making symmetric periodic extension to the borders only. Furthermore, its orthogonality makes data volume processed small, thus avoids data redundancy in transformation. Experiment results show that the image mosaic appears no obvious sharp edge and the images assembled are blended gradually over the borders with a small data volume and high speed.更多还原
