热爆反应原位生成TiC的热力学和动力学探讨
STUDY ON THE THERMODYNAMICS AND KINETICS OF IN-SITU TiC PARTICLE FORMATION BY COMBUSTION SYNTHESIS
【摘要】 利用Al-Ti-C系热爆反应过程中有关反应的自由能变化和DTA曲线,探讨了TiC的形成机理.研究结果表明,TiC、Al4C3和TiAl3都有可能存在于反应过程中;合成Al4C3和TiAl3的副反应所放出的热量引发了Ti和C的合成反应;获得没有副产物的TiC/Al复合材料的前提条件是促使Al4C3和TiAl3完全转变为TiC
【Abstract】 This paper reports a study on the formation mechanism of TiC particles by the change of free energy of possible reactions in combustion synthesis of Al_Ti_C system as well as DTA curves. The results show that TiC, Al 4C 3 and TiAl 3 may be obtained during the process of reaction. Owing to the exothermic reactions of Al 4C 3 and TiAl 3 formation, the synthesis of TiC tends to complete. A major factor for obtaining TiC/Al composite without by_product is the complete transformation of Al 4C 3 and TiAl 3 to TiC.
