【Abstract】 In this paper, the characteristics of the groundwater-gas significant anomalies in Xinxiang in August, 1996 are presented and the cause of anomalies is analyzed. The results show that the distribution of these anomalies is irrelative to active faults,the gas from the well holes slightly like the air, and it is probably the soil-air from the atmosphere, no any trail can express the gas comes from the crustal deep, so it is not the precursor of earthquake.更多还原
