【Abstract】 Zelkova schneideriana is the second class of state-protected species.Till to now,large scale plantation of this species has not been reported.However,the planted trees grew well:the average height of one-year seedling was over 1 meter and the highest was up to 1 75 meter,And the annual growth in high was 0 78m,diameter at chest height was 0 72cm of the 10-year-old trees.The growth rate is higher than the masson pine and lower than the china fir.Zelkova is a fast growing and high quality broad-leaved hard wood species.It can be reproduced by seeds.50 years after planted,it can be harvested for the architecture,and the annual income from the harvest is about 7000 yuan(RMB)/mu.更多还原
