【Abstract】 A simple one step synthesis for the preparation of 3-indolecaproic acid is described which involves the direct base catalyzed reaction of caprolactone with indole in the presence of high boiling point solvent. The yield is 52.8%, the recovery of indole is 31%. The process is simplicity of operator, low cost and recycled solvent.更多还原
