【Abstract】 Based on the reason that causing the slower convergence speed when solving complicated problem with Evolutionary Programming and Evolutionary Strategies, the Paper presents a new mutation method which uses Cauchy mutation operator instead of Gaussian mutation operator as a primary search operator.
