【摘要】 从前端客户应用访问数据库服务器的角度，对比基于ＰＣ的数据库的访问方法，论述了在客户／服务器体系结构下，访问数据库服务器的主要特点。文章对ＯＤＢＣ（ＯＰｅｎＤａｔａｂａｓｅＣｏｎｎｅｃｔｉｖｉｔｙ开放式数据库连接）技术的工作机制进行了详细的阐述，并对它的优点进行了总结。最后在实际应用中，采用ＶｉｓｕａｌＢａｓｉｃ５．０作为前端应用的开发语言，总结了它在数据库应用程序开发中的特点，并通过具体的实例阐述了访问服务器数据库的两种方法。更多还原
