Through overhaul many dangerous cracks and some other welding defects beyond the scope of the standard in welded joints of a deoxidization vessel were found. After repair welding and nondestructive test, strength recalculation and economic analysis were conducted. Then it came to a conclusion that the deoxidization vessel had been able to operate on the rated load. Up to now there is no leakage and it runs well.
