【Abstract】 Sugarcane variety ROC 16 had the excellent characters of prematurity and high sugar content. The average sugar content and sugar content at November were remarkbly higher than that of ROC 10 and Yuetang 63-237. At the end of crushing season, the sugar content still kept high and was not easy to draw down. The gravity purity was high and the reducing sugar content was low.
