溶剂极性对聚苯醚离聚体微乳液相反转影响的研究
Studies on Waterborne Microemulsion of Sulfonated Polyphenylene Oxide Ionomer-The Effect of Polarity of Solvents on Phase Inversion During Emulsification Process
【摘要】 以乙酰磺酸为磺化剂制备了磺化度为 3%~ 1 7% (摩尔比 )的磺化聚苯醚 (SPPO)。在一定的温度和搅拌速度下 ,加水将SPPO离聚体溶液乳化成水包油的稳定水基微乳液。用电导率、粘度、表面张力等表征了SPPO离聚体溶液在微乳化过程中的相反转 ,研究了溶剂的极性对SPPO微乳化过程相反转的影响。
【Abstract】 The lightly sulfonated poly(phenylene oxide) (SPPO) ionomers in different mixing solvents were emulsificated by water to form a series of waterborne microemulsions.The variations of conductivity、viscosity and surface tension of SPPO ionomer solution during the emulsification process and the effect of the polarity of solvent systems on the phase inversion in the emulsification process were studied.The mechanism of phase inversion was inferred.The lower polarity of solvent system,the less water contents for starting the phase inversion process if the maximum conductivity in conductivity curves were assigned to indicate the starting of phase inversion process.It was also testified in surface tension curves.The viscosity of SPPO in higher polarity of solvent system increased gently with the addition of water.While in lower polarity of solvent system,a maximum viscosity appeared in viscosity curve.
