【Abstract】 The colour reaction of copper (Ⅱ)-Iodine complex anion and Rbodamine B in the presence of Ascorbic acid and Gum arabic-polyvinyl alcohol is studied. Beer’s law is obeyed in the ranqe of 1. 6~5. 6μg /mL of copper. The apparent molar absorptivity is 1. 2×104 L·mol-1·cm-1. Recovery is 97. 6%~102.1 % of method.
