【Abstract】 In this paper, the architecture of rapid product and process realization(RPPR) is studied, which is a key enabler for the next generation manufacturing (NGM) enterprises. The enablers of RPPR are explored. Based on process management systems, the integration mechanism of collaborative design and manufacturing at different sites is established.
