【Abstract】 A total of 24 wistar rats were divided into four groups: two experimental and two control groups. The myocardial hypertrophy was induced in experimental rats by daily injections peritoneally of L thyroxine (1 0 mg/kg/day) for 3 or 4 weeks. Using the histochemical localization of Ca 2+ under electron microscope, combined with microanalysis by electronprobe, we observed that Ca 2+ accumulation in myocytes mitochondria of experimental rats was increased obviously. The results suggest that damage of cardiac myocytes is closely related to Ca 2+ accumulation and abnormal distribution in the cells.更多还原
