CuO对硬质PVC热解、阻燃和抑烟的锥形量热仪(CONE)研究

【摘要】 通过利用锥形量热仪( C O N E)实验获得的热失重速率( M L R)、热释放速率( H R R)、有效燃烧热( E H C)、烟释放速率( S P R)和点燃时间( T T I)等参数研究了氧化铜对 P V C热降解行为、阻燃和抑烟的影响。研究表明,氧化铜促进了 P V C早而快地脱 H Cl,并且明显降低了链段的裂解速度,促进了成炭量的增加。因此, Cu O 明显降低了 H R R 和 S P R,说明它具有良好的阻燃性和抑烟性。氧化铜使 P V C的点燃时间缩短,并使挥发物有利于气相燃烧反应。由于 Cu O 促进阴燃,从而导致总热释放量增加。

【Abstract】 The effects of copper oxide on the thermal degradation, flame retardance, and smoke suppression of poly(vinyl chloride)(PVC) were investigated through various parameters such as MLR,HRR,EHC,SPR and TTI , etc, which were measured at an irradiance of 25 kW/m 2 from Cone calorimeter. The influence of CuO on PVC can be shown as follows : (1) promote the reaction of HCl elimination earlier and more quickly, and decrease the rate of segment pyrolysis;(2) enhance the amount of charformed;(3) decrease HRR,SPR and total smoke production significantly, compared with rigid PVC, and ability of flame retardance and smoke suppression increases with increasing add on of copper oxide;(4) shorten TTI of PVC;(5) volatiles produced by heating are easier to burn in the gas phase;(6) increase total heat release because copper oxide makes char afterglow.
