【Abstract】 Based on analyses of the construction practice and the test data of several highway bridges in China,deficiencies of the pile capacity formula in the Code (JTJ 024-85) have been pointed out,a method of segmental linear interpolation for the depth effect is presented. Moreover,a simplified calculation formula is given and values of the synthetical coefficient are discussed. Numerical examples are shown to demonstrate the rationality and reliability of the method.更多还原
