基于偏微分方程和小波的图像编码
Image Coding Based on Partial Differential Equation and Wavelet
【摘要】 提出了一种将偏微分方程和小波结合在一起的图像编码方法.首先利用和偏微分方程相关联的滤波器将原始图像从尺度空间的一种状态转移到另一种状态.后一种状态的图像复杂程度,包括图像的突变程度、边缘的形状等有所降低,但依然保持了很好的主观效果.接着对这样的图像进行小波编码,压缩比得到了提高.在小波解码之后,用近似的逆滤波器在尺度空间中进行状态转移(恢复).最终的解码图像具有较好的主客观质量
【Abstract】 A image coding based on partial differential equation and wavelet is presented. The original image which can be taken as a state in a scale space is transformed into another state and becomes simple including decreasing the complexity of singularity and shape of edges. But good subjective quantity of the simple image is kept down. Then, a wavlet based image coding method is applied on the simple image and high compression ratio is obtained. During the decoding, inverse filter is designed to recover the state in scale space after the wavelet decoding result is obtained.
