基于半导体光放大器四波混频波长转换的理论研究
Theoretical Study of the Wavelength Conversion Based on Four Wave Mixing in Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers
【摘要】 本文对基于半导体光放大器四波混频效应的波长转换作了理论分析.得到了波长转换效率与半导体光放大器特性参数以及注入泵浦光功率等关系的解析表达式.通过数学模拟表明,波长转换效率受到泵浦光功率和饱和功率等参数的影响.本文的结果将为波长转换器的合理设计提供了理论依据
【Abstract】 Wavelength conversion due to four wave mixing(FWM) in a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) is theoretically analyzed in this paper.An analytic expression is developed describing the relationship between conversion efficiency and the characteristic parameters of SOA and input pump power.The numerical simulation results show that the wavelength conversion efficiency is influenced by the input pump power and saturation power of SOA.The theoretical evidences are given for the design of wavelength converter.
