动态缓冲区门限漏桶方案的性能分析
Performance Analysis of a Leaky Bucket Scheme with Dynamic Thresholds in the Data Buffer
【摘要】 本文提出了缓冲区门限随当前漏桶速率变化的动态缓冲区门限漏桶方案.以马尔可夫调制泊松过程(MMPP)作为信源输入流,用嵌入马尔可夫过程描述该系统,得到了系统状态在嵌入点和任意时刻的极限分布,从而获得信元损失率、信元平均时延及占用的有效带宽等性能测度.数值分析表明本方案的信元损失率及平均信元时延性能较缓冲区门限漏桶方案有显著提高,而且占用更少的带宽
【Abstract】 In this paper,a new leaky bucket (LB) scheme based on dynamic buffer thresholds is presented,of which the buffer thresholds change with the leaky rate.By an embedded Markov process,we obtain the limiting distribution of the system’s state at an embedded point and at an arbitrary time when using Markov modulated Poisson procedss(MMPP) as an input traffic.So cell loss probability and mean cell delay and effective bandwidth occupancy are easily obtained.Numerical result shows our scheme has lower cell loss probability and lower mean cell delay than those of other LB schemes,and significantly needs less bandwidth resource.
