用DSP实现MPEG音频层II压缩的加速方法
Fast Method for Compression in MPEG Audio LayerⅢ by Digital Signal Processor
【摘要】 MPEG音频层II压缩算法,是由ISO11172-3标准规定的一种高效、高保真的压缩编码算法。由于层II压缩算法的复杂度高,运算量大,为此提出了在实时应用中,基于数字信号处理器(DigitalSignalProcessor,以下简称DSP)实现层II压缩算法的关键运算的加速措施。
【Abstract】 MPEG audio Layer III compression algorithm is a high efficiency and Hi-Fi compression coding of digital audio specified by ISO11172-3 standard. Since the algorithm is high complexity and time consuming, implementation of the coding algorithm is considered, especially for the real time application. Several fast methods such as Huffman coding, iteration of bit allocation are presented and also the key points to realize them on the fixed point DSP chip-DSP2181.
