【Abstract】 This paper deals with the method of the selection of the desulflurization process for the coal fired power plants of middle and large size, and chiefly illustrates the comprehensive comparison and analysis of cost and operation for the diversed desulflurization technologies, especially for the wet process and simple process such as dry and semi dry processes. Finally it is concluded that the wet process will be the most dominated and reasonable application for the majority of coal fired power plants of middle and large size. Figs 5, table 1 and refs 4.
