【Abstract】 A dynamic analysis of a rigid plastic material free free beam subjected to local distributed impulsive loading is presented. The free free beam can be resembled to some kinds of aerospace structures with stepped mass distribution. The critical plastic deformation loading and the final plastic deformation are given. A group of failure experiments of small dimension beams with different inside material are conducted to verify the theoretical predictions. The predicted final plastic deformations show good correlation with existing experimental data.更多还原
