【Abstract】 Silkworm (Bombyx mori L. )rearing on artificial diet is a great technologicalinnovat1on in history. It will be in favor of laborsaving and stable sericulture. However,it hasnot been popularized for the reasons that cost of diet was high,development of larva was un-uniform. Aimed to this point,the effect of different times to feed newly-hatched larvae,dietmoistrues and diet preparations on larval development and the difference between individualsin the same variety were investigated. The results showed that ① the larvae fed at differenttimes developed with different uniformities, Feeding newly-hatched larvae upon hatching >feeding on the second day>feeding on the third day>feeding on the fourth day;②73% of di-et moisture was proper. It would affect developmental uniformity when diet moisture higheror lower than that value.更多还原
