【Abstract】 In this paper, the characteristics of rapid solidification technology and the potentiality of the technology applied to aluminium alloys with high\|silicon contents are introduced. The production methods as well as research state of rapidly solidified aluminium alloys with high\|silicon contents are reviewed. The practical applications of these alloys in automotive industry are summarized briefly. The existing problems in this research field and future development of these alloys are also stated.更多还原
