【Abstract】 This paper discusses texture characteristics of Hetian Jade in Xinjiang. Based on the forming patterns of tremolite mineral, the texture troes of Hetian Jade are suggested. And also it discusses the relationship between the texture types and their source rocks. The achievement of study provides scien- tific basis for the genesis of Hetian Jade.
