【Abstract】 Using the layering and partitioning concepts which are two important concepts in modeling the transport network functional architecture, the developing method of the ATM transport network management system is studied. The application of the layering and partitioning concepts in determining the management information model and designing the software architecture of the ATM NMS is detail introduced.
