【Abstract】 With the development of internet/intranet and the appearance of world wide web(www ), traditional Client/Server (b/w) model is gradually transforming to browser-Websever-database (bwd) model. Compared with the former,the latter is easy to use and operateand has better maintain and scallness. This article mainly discusses methods of using Powerbuilder to develop internet/intranet applications, which include WEB. PB, Plug. in, and ActiveX. Each method is expounded from its principle and procession, development procedure,to main characteristics and drawbacks, together with examples.
