【Abstract】 Service industry for the elderly has dual nature for economy and society. Its development indicates civilization and progress of society in the country. This paper analyzes problems and reasons of service industry for the elderly in Shanghai in detail on the basis of investigation, and raises corresponding policy suggestion.
