【Abstract】 The development of gametophytes of Osmunda japonica Thunb was studied in this paper.The mature spore is tetrahedral,trilete,with various short club shapes on it.Generally the germ filaments develop 2～3 cells long.The prothallial develops into the Osmunda type (nayar 1971).The antheridia and the archegonia appear in 6～8 weeks and in 4 weeks respectively after germination.更多还原
