2.4 GHz wearable fabric antenna design

【摘要】 本文旨在提出了一种2.4 GHz WBAN(无线体域网)应用的可穿戴织物圆极化天线。天线采用三层导电屏蔽布与两层羊毛毡介质的叠层结构,通过耦合馈电和地面十字交叉缝隙实现激励与圆极化,并在辐射贴片外围引入四个倒L寄生支节以扩展轴比带宽。仿真结果表明,在平面状态下天线实现了12.5%(2.28–2.58 GHz)的相对带宽、4.8%(2.39–2.51 GHz)的3 dB轴比带宽以及约5.8 dBic的峰值增益。将天线贴合在皮肤/脂肪/肌肉三层人体模型并在曲率半径75 mm和100 mm下测试后,依然能保持2.21–2.59 GHz的-10 dB带宽、约2.36–2.50 GHz的轴比带宽,以及3–4.5 dBic的增益。该结构紧凑、柔性优异,在不同弯曲状态和人体环境中性能稳定,满足2.4 GHz WBAN的佩戴式天线需求。

【Abstract】 A compact wearable circularly polarized fabric antenna is presented for 2.4-GHz wireless body area network(WBAN) applications.The antenna is implemented using a multilayer configuration consisting of three conductive shielding fabric layers and two wool-felt dielectric layers.Circular polarization is achieved by means of coupled feeding and orthogonal cross-slots etched on the ground plane,while four inverted-L parasitic elements are introduced around the radiating patch to enhance the axial ratio(AR) bandwidth.Simulation results demonstrate that,in the planar state,the proposed antenna achieves a 12.5% impedance bandwidth(2.28–2.58GHz),a 3-dB AR bandwidth of 4.8%(2.39–2.51 GHz),and a peak gain of 5.8 d Bic.Furthermore,when conformed to a three-layer human tissue model(skin/fat/muscle) with bending radii of 75 mm and 100 mm,the antenna maintains stable performance with a-10-d B bandwidth of 2.21–2.59 GHz,an AR bandwidth of 2.36–2.50 GHz,and a gain of 3–4.5 dBic.Owing to its compact profile,excellent flexibility,and robustness under body loading conditions,the proposed design is a promising candidate for 2.4-GHz WBAN wearable applications.
