低剖面小型化宽带宽角扫描微带圆极化天线阵列

【摘要】 本文针对某飞行器平台,设计了一种4x4的低剖面、小型化、宽带、宽角扫描的微带圆极化天线阵列。天线贴片采用单馈切角的形式实现圆极化;通过在贴片中间加载U型槽,以及在贴片四周进行修剪实现了天线的小型化,有利于阵列的紧凑排布与宽角扫描,并且将馈电点移动至天线单元的几何中心,降低了单元间的互耦;通过采用双层贴片以及加载短路过孔的方法,在保证低剖面的前提下,拓展了天线的阻抗带宽;天线阵列采用顺序旋转馈电的方式极大地拓展了轴比带宽。通过大量的仿真计算与优化,最终确定了天线的最优参数。仿真结果表明,天线的中心频率为26GHz,4x4天线阵列在扫描至55°时可实现右旋圆极化增益为12.23dBi,扫描至55°时有源驻波小于3的相对阻抗带宽为14%,带内轴比小于4dB,阵列总厚度仅为0.044λ0。该天线阵列具有尺寸小、剖面低、频带宽、宽角扫描的特点,适用于高速运动载体平台上的卫星通信。

【Abstract】 This paper presents a design of a 4x4 low profile,miniaturized,broadband,wide-angle scanning circularly polarized microstrip antenna array for a certain aircraft platform.The single fed antenna patch achieves circular polarization by cutting corners of the patch;The miniaturization of the antenna is achieved by loading a U-shaped groove in the middle of the patch and trimming around the patch,which is conducive to the compact arrangement and wide-angle scanning of the array.The feeding point is also moved to the geometric center of the antenna unit,reducing mutual coupling;By using double-layer microstrip patch and loading short-circuit vias,the impedance bandwidth of the antenna is expanded while ensuring a low profile;The antenna array adopts a sequential rotation feeding method,which greatly expands the axial bandwidth.Through extensive simulation calculations and optimization,the optimal parameters of the antenna were ultimately determined.The simulation results show that the center frequency of the antenna is 26GHz,and the 4x4 antenna array can achieve a right-handed circular polarization realized gain of 12.23 dBi when scanned to 55 °.The relative impedance bandwidth of the active VSWR less than 3 when scanned to 55° is 14%,the in band axial ratio is less than 4dB,and the total thickness of the array is only 0.044 λ0.This antenna array has the characteristics of small size,low profile,wide frequency band,and wide-angle scanning,and is suitable for satellite communication on high-speed moving carrier platforms.
