Low-Temperature Thermochronology proves that the Qiangtang Plateau had expanded into the Basu region, SE Tibet, during the early Eocene

【摘要】 <正>As the largest topographical feature on Earth, the Tibetan Plateau(TP) is a prime example of an actively expanding plateau. Much debate focuses on the expansion of its southeast. And the Bangong-Nujiang suture(BNS) is one of the important geological windows to deciphering the growth history of the TP. Here, we choose the Basu region, which is located in the eastern BNS, SE Tibet.
