适用于圆极化微带天线馈电网络的3 dB宽带Tandem耦合器设计

【摘要】 本文提出了一种适用于圆极化天线馈电网络的3 dB宽带Tandem耦合器及其分析和设计方法,通过将两节四分之一波长对称耦合微带线段进行串接,在保留传统耦合线耦合器宽带、小型化等优点的同时,克服了其由于线间距加工精度限制而导致的低耦合度问题,且弥补了圆极化天线馈网常采用的分支线混合网络的带宽窄,尺寸大等缺陷,实现了宽带3 dB正交耦合。Tandem耦合器在5 GHz中心频率处实现了相对带宽43.2%(3.93GHz~6.09 GHz),带内各端口回损皆低于-15 dB,直通端与耦合端插损皆在0.05 dB至0.64 dB之间、90°相位差稳定,隔离度优于15 dB,且电路尺寸小,具有良好的应用前景。
【Abstract】 In this paper,a 3 dB wideband Tandem coupler suitable for the feed network of circularily polarized antennas is proposed,with its analysis and design methodology.By tandemly connecting two quarter-wavelength symmetrical coupled microstrip line segments,the small coupling degree problem of traditional coupled line couplers due to the fabrication limitation of the line spacing is overcome,while retaining the advantages of wideband and miniaturization.It also makes up for the defects of the branch-line hybrid network,usually utilized in the feed network of circularly polarized antennas,such as the narrow band width and large size.And the wideband 3 dB orthogonal coupling is realized.The Tandem coupler achieved a relative bandwidth of 43.2%(3.93 GHz-6.09 GHz) at the center frequency of 5 GHz.The return loss of all ports in the band was lower than-15 dB.Anplitudes of the insertion loss of both the through end and the coupled ports were between 0.05 dB to 0.64 dB,the phase difference was stable at 90°,and the isolation degree was better than 15 dB.The circuit is compact with a small size,having a good application prospect.
