青少年自我控制与心理健康的非线性影响:学校适应的中介作用和身体活动的调节作用
The Nonlinear Effect of Adolescent Self-control and Mental Health:The Mediating Role of School Adjustment and the Moderating Role of Physical Activity

【摘要】 目的考察青少年自我控制对心理健康的非线性影响,探讨学校适应的中介作用和身体活动的调节作用。方法采用自我控制量表、中学生心理健康量表、高中生学校适应量表、国际体力活动问卷对2077名高中生进行测量,借助Medcurve和Process等工具对问卷数据进行实证研究。结果 (1)青少年自我控制对心理健康有U型影响;青少年自我控制对学校适应有U型影响;(2)学校适应在青少年自我控制和心理健康的U型关系中起中介传导作用。(3)身体活动调节了青少年自我控制和心理健康之间经由学校适应的间接效应。结论青少年为实现学校适应,有时需要对内在自我优先或外在适应优先策略进行抉择,在这一过程中易因自我控制资源过度损耗,陷入"过剩适应"状态,从而影响其心理健康。学校适应同青少年自我控制资源损耗、恢复的动态变化有关,介导了青少年自我控制与心理健康U型关系的产生。身体活动能够通过调节青少年学校适应和心理健康间的关系,弱化自我控制过程中"过剩适应"对心理健康的影响。与低身体活动青少年相比,高身体活动青少年通过调动更少的自我控制资源,获得更好的学校适应,且更为弱化对过剩适应引发的心理健康问题的关注。研究为青少年心理健康的影响因素研究提供了新思路,倡导教育者通过合理开展身体活动的方式,动态平衡青少年自我控制和学校适应,以维护青少年心理健康。
【Abstract】 Objective: To investigate the nonlinear effect of self-control on mental health of adolescents, and to explore the mediating role of School Adjustment and the moderating role of physical activity. Methods: Used self-control scale, mental health scale for middle school students, School Adjustment scale, international physical activity questionnaire to measure 2077 senior high school students. Conducted empirical research on questionnaire data with tools such as Medcurve and Process. Results:(1)Adolescent self-control had a U-shaped effect on mental health. Adolescent self-control had a U-shaped effect on School Adjustment.(2)School Adjustment played a mediating role in the U-shaped relationship between self-control and mental health of adolescents.(3)Physical activity regulated the indirect effect between self-control and mental health of adolescents through School Adjustment. Conclusions: In order to realize school adjustment, adolescents sometimes need to make a choice between internal self and external adaptation. In this process, it is easy to fall into a state of "over-adaptation" due to excessive loss of self-control resources, thus affecting their mental health. School adjustment is related to the dynamic changes in the depletion and recovery of self-control resources in adolescents, mediating the U-shaped relationship between self-control and mental health in adolescents. Physical activity can weaken the influence of "over-adaptation" on mental health in the process of self-control by adjusting the relationship between School Adjustment and mental health of adolescents. Compared to adolescents with low physical activity, adolescents with high physical activity gain better school adjustment by mobilizing fewer self-control resources, and weaken their attention to mental health issues caused by over-adaptation. The study provides a new way of the study of the influencing factors of adolescent mental health. Advocate educators to dynamically balance adolescent self-control and School Adjustment through appropriate physical activities.
