【Abstract】 A new Avian Paramyxovirus (APMV) isolate was obtained in Jiangsu Province in 1998, which named isolate Y98. Part of the fusion gene of isolate Y98 was amplified by RT-PCR and sequenced. A phylogenetic tree based on obtained sequences of reference NDV strains was constructed and showed that isolate Y98 was similar to the genotype VII NDV virus, a novel genotype NDV, which caused a number of outbreaks in recent in Western Europe and Far East. It’s the first report of the genotype VII NDV isolated in China’s mainland.更多还原
