Internal structure of monolithic star-forming cores

【摘要】 We have observed 146 ultra-compact Hii regions with the ALMA at Band 3.The 3mm continuum images reveal fragmened dense cores in about most sources,while about 1/3 of this uniformly selected UCHii sample are monolithic,i.e.,they are non-fragmenting.These sources resemble monolithic collapse in high-mass star formation.We further analyze the internal strcuture of these cores and compare them with theoreitical predictions.更多还原
