交叉缝隙馈电双频圆极化介质谐振器天线
Cross-slot-coupled Dual-band Circularly Polarized Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna

【摘要】 本文对一种交叉缝隙馈电双频带圆极化矩形介质谐振器天线进行了研究。该介质天线的长宽比为3.2:1,基模TE111,高次模TE121和TE131的谐振频率相互靠近。通过交叉缝隙馈电,三个圆极化模式被激励起来。模式TE111和TE121融合在一起,组成了低频带;模式TE131构成了高频带。低频带和高频带的3dB轴比带宽分别为19.7%(2.92-3.56 GHz)和6.1%(3.94–4.19 GHz)。有趣的是,在低频带,主极化是左旋圆极化;而在高频带,主极化是右旋圆极化。为了验证仿真的正确性,对天线进行了测量,测量结果和仿真结果合理吻合。
【Abstract】 A cross-slot-coupled dual-band circularly polarized(CP) rectangular dielectric resonator antenna is investigated in this letter.The rectangular DRA has an aspect ratio of 3.2:1,which makes the resonant frequencies of the fundamental TE111 mode,the higher-order TE121 and TE131 modes close to each other.By feeding the DRA with a cross-slot,three CP modes are excited.The CP modes TE111 and TE121 merge together,composing the lower band,while TE131 mode composes the upper band.The simulated 3-dB axial ratio(AR) bandwidths(AR< 3 dB) are 19.7%(2.92-3.56 GHz) and 6.1%(3.94 – 4.19 GHz) for the lower and upper bands,respectively.Interestingly,it is found that the left-handed CP field is excited in the lower band,while the right-handed CP field is excited in the upper band.Measurement was carried out to verify the simulation,and reasonable agreement was obtained.
