【Abstract】 Crocin is a glycoside carotenoid compound, which has been proved to have a variety of antitumor activities. The anti-tumor mechanism of Crocin mainly includes inhibition of tumor cell proliferation, promotion of tumor cell apoptosis, reversal of multidrug resistance, induction of autophagy, induction of cell cycle block, inhibition of angiogenesis, inhibition of tumor invasion and metastasis and so on.
